This is the photo submitted for Katie's third passport.  Only nine months old and she is on her third passport!  She had to get an emergency passport to fly out of Germany at only eight days old.  Then she had to get a no fee passport so she can travel on my military orders when we return to America.  When we received the no fee back the govt punched holes in our original emergency passport so now we have to again purchase a regular travel passport.  It was incredibly difficult to get a baby to take a proper passport photo.  This was around take 42 after three days of attempts.  At home, Incirlik Air Bae, Turkey, 7:57 AM:

Mom spends the afternoon at the CDC with Katie.  A few shots from the afternoon.  This first shot below is so everyone can also see that Katie also looks very much like Mom. Everyone is always saying Katie looks like Daddy but Daddy can see a lot of Mom in Katie.  Especially here. A failed passport photo attempt.  We had a heck of a time getting Katie's passport photo. They have to be a head shot with eyes open on a neutral white background.  Karen took this shot which was the best one taken up to this point. Usually, the flash caused Katie to close her eyes. Here the eyes are open but the top of the head was cut off making the photo unuseable.
