Sound asleep. She had an exhausting day: a full day at Laughlin AFB Daycare, then Nora and Jake Windsor came to pick her up. Mom with Nora to a painting class and Dad took Jake and Katie to the base gym where we played in the raquetball court with volleyballs for about a hal hour and then it was to McDonals's for more play and food, then back to The Dwyer House for more play and cartoons until everyone was sleepy about 9:30. Making banana bread with Mom. Katie literally did almost everything. She peeled the bananas, mashed the bananas, scooped & mixed the ingredients, and mixed it all up. Her first true kitchen experience. Del Rio, Texas, 7:28 PM:

When she was doing daycare at Jennifer Espinosa's house at Laughlin AFB, Jennifer had Katie paint a little pot and plant a cucumber in it.
