Dad finally finished Katie's desk in her playroom.  Her room is actual room is very small so we have been slowly converting our dining room into a playroom.  We have the IKEA cube wall up and the activity desk here.  Not quite finished yet. Katie's kindergarten dental check.  I think we found the perfect dentist!  Dr. John Mobilia.  He had Katie laughing the entire time.  He told her about the sugar bugs at night - if you don't brush your teeth then the sugar bugs come and eat all that stuff you left in your teeth...and then they poop in your teeth.  Katie loves Dr. John.

2013 April 5, Friday

We have been trying to make Friday night game night and sometimes pizza night.  Tonight we walked to Round Table Pizza, which is one of Katie's favorite things to do.  She plays all the games.  The funny thing is, even though she acts all excited about pizza, she usually only eats the crust from one piece and then eats veggies from the salad bar.  Hope she keeps that up.

Dad didn't have time to walk Katie to school today but he still got to drive her.  So I took this picture of Katie inside her room.  All the kids in her class painted sunflowers.  Katie's is in the top left corner of the picture below.  Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego, California, 2013-4-4, 7:15 AM.

Katie made a book for her friend Sydney next door.  We took it over to give Sydney but she wasn't home so Katie left it with her Dad.  I love how Katie will do make 2-5 pages of stuff and then ask us to staple it together and call it a book.  Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego, California, 2013-4-2, 6:30 PM.

2013 April 1, Monday (First Day At Gymnastics)

First day at gymnastics.  Learning to do a somersault.

                                    

It's hard to get pictures because there is nowhere to sit.  I snuck around back outside to get this one.  I asked Katie to stand up and she said, "Daaad, the teacher didn't tell me I could stand up."

After class she said she loved it and wanted to practice on her own.  She couldn't understand why she couldn't just go do what she wanted on the mats.
