Dad taught her to throw rocks into the brush outside the house today. Every time Dad threw a rock into the brush it would land would a big THUD and Katie would proclaim "ewwwwwwww!" She thought it was more fun to drop pebbles on her head.

Eating dinner at home. Katie had her 15-month check-up today, one month late. Doctor Jett said everything looks good. Above average verbally, 21 lbs and 12 ounces, and almost 34 inches long. Katie also spent her first night in America with a babysitter tonight and did wonderful. My coworker, Lt Julia Vanover was kind enough to watch Katie while Karen and I went to Applebees and saw Disney's new digital cartoon "A Christmas Carol." Katie loved Julia. Normally, I don't post this many photos for one day, but today is special. Katie's first time trick or treating. Below, Snow White is ready for her first night out on Halloween. Last year, in Turkey, she was only three months and fell asleep before the trick or treating started, 5PM:
