The quilt was a gift from one of my Mom's friends from The Niel Diamond fan club. Thise quilt was made by a laady named "Rise" just for Katie. Of course frogs are very symbolic for Neil Diamond fans. Remember the lyrics from "I Am...I Said" - "Did you ever read about a frog / who dreamed of becoming a king / and then became one..." The especially cool thing about Rise is that she recently made a quilt for neil Diamond that he was able to see and will eventually receive. I am trying to obtain a link to the video of Neil seeing the quilt rise made for her but having difficulty as YouTube is blocked in Turkey. Photo from Incirlik Air Base, Turley, 1:23PM:

In Katie's crib. I forgot my gift list but I will be sure to bring so I can update next time I am online with the correct info. The blanket was a fabulous unexpected gift from my Mom's Niel Diamond friend, Eydie Ruth. Eydie picked out a beautiful sparkly and soft material and had her mother make this beautiful blanket.
